This just in from Darden’s Dean Bob Bruner:
Dear Darden Community,
I am pleased to announce two Top 10 rankings for Darden:
· The Princeton Review for Entrepreneurship magazine released today its annual ranking of the top 50 entrepreneurship programs in the United States. From the more than 2,000 programs reviewed, Darden ranked #3 among graduate programs.
Darden climbed four places in the ranking, up from #7 in 2010. The ranking measures strong entrepreneurship fundamentals in the classroom, the number of teachers who are successful entrepreneurs, excellence in mentorship, and experiential or entrepreneurial opportunities outside of the classroom. Earlier this month, LinkedIn also named Darden one of the Top 10 Most Entrepreneurial Business Schools.
Darden’s rise in the entrepreneurship rankings is a nod to many: our students and alumni who have a vision to build a successful business, our faculty who inspire and inform their work, and our Batten Institute and Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, which work in tandem to create value and transform society through entrepreneurship and innovation.
For more information, read the news story on Darden’s website, or visit www.entrepreneur.com/topcolleges or www.princetonreview.com/entrepreneur.
· Hispanic Business Magazine also ranked Darden in the Top 10 – at #6 – among U.S. business schools. The ranking measures the effectiveness of universities in the United States in attracting Hispanic students by evaluating Hispanic enrollment, student services, reputation, faculty and retention rate.
This ranking recognizes the success of our vision to foster a diverse community of outstanding richness. For more information, visit Hispanic Business.
Please join me in celebrating this national recognition of the extraordinary work taking place each day at Darden.
Best regards,
Bob
